Enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories for children 2 -5 years old at a weekly Toddler Plus Story Time. Registration: Drop-In.

 

During Toddler Plus Story Time, we will share picture books, songs, and rhymes that you can enjoy with your children. Stories, songs, and rhymes help children gain pre-reading skills and develop a love of reading.

This Toddlers Plus Story Time was created for children 2 - 5 years old.

Debate 101

Learn from teen volunteers in a fun, interactive debate workshop! Registration required. For kids in grades 5 to 7.

 

Teens will lead younger kids in a fun and interactive debate workshop at the library! The program includes one hour of instruction on debate skills, followed by a short, friendly debate. Participants will learn critical thinking and public speaking skills, how a debate is structured, and how to respectfully argue both sides of an issue.

Light refreshments provided. In partnership with the Teen Advisory Council.

Hang out with other parents and babies in this low stress drop in playtime for babies. Sensory toys are special toys that are designed to appeal to a baby's senses in an education and fun way. These often feature elements that have unusual textures, movement, or sounds. See what you baby likes best!

Through this regular practice, members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals.

Down to Business Toastmasters is a small, supportive club with all levels of members from new to experienced. Come as a guest to find out how fun it is to become a better speaker.
